Imperial Gift Box Packaging Design

Imperial Gift Box

The design of the Six Treasures Imperial Tea Gift Box draws inspiration from the Chinese imperial dragon robe. The square box features a circular silk embroidery of double dragons on one side and a peony, the national flower of China, on the other, symbolizing harmony between heaven and earth. Its twin lids open inward like butterfly wings, revealing shimmering golden tea crystal bottles that evoke imperial nobility. Chinese calligraphy and seal elements incorporated into the logo and packaging highlight the transformation of classical aesthetics into contemporary design.

Imperial Gift Box Packaging Design by Lampo Leong was identified as an exceptional representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Imperial Gift Box Packaging Design was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2026. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
