Wilsons Cold Pressed
Wilsons is a packaging design for cold pressed dog food. The range covers three products, each offered in 2.5 kg and 10 kg bags. Illustrations of the landscapes of the British Isles wrap around every bag, and each product has its own name and colour palette. The bags are printed in CMYK by flexography with water-based inks over a flood coat of white ink, then finished with a clear protective varnish. Lightweight foil bags with resealable zip closures replace heavy paper sacks, keep the food fresh for longer and help reduce waste.
Wilsons Cold Pressed Dog Food Packaging by Gary D Lawson has been recognized as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Wilsons Cold Pressed Dog Food Packaging received the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design competition which rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
