Sparkling Juice
Sparkling Juice is a packaging design for a carbonated fruit drink. The design combines the label with the shape of the glass bottle. The beveled label follows the curvature of the bottle, and a small fruit label indicates the flavor of the juice. Hand-drawn illustrations show four animals, a flamingo, a leopard, a giraffe and a chameleon, reaching toward four fruits, lime, passion fruit, strawberry and lychee. The bottle holds 290 milliliters and is 20 centimeters tall. Hot silver printing and embossing are used on the label.
Sparkling Juice Beverage Packaging by Mao Ming has been recognized as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Sparkling Juice Beverage Packaging won the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that recognizes outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
