Cala di Seta 932
The project aims to create an elegant, contemporary, and minimal design to convey the heritage of this winery, founded in 1932, in balance between the values of innovation with the importance of being rooted to the earth. This combination is conveyed through a highly engaging visual label design. The labels are made with paper such as Fasson Cotton by Avery Dennison and finishes such as gold foil and metallic pantones to create a project that could convey the prestige and winemaking tradition of this winery.
Cala di Seta 932 Wine Labels by Giovanni Murgia was highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award. Cala di Seta 932 Wine Labels won the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2024. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition that celebrates superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
