Strong Tiger
Strong Tiger is a limited edition packaging design for a Chinese baijiu. The design marks the Year of the Tiger in the Chinese Zodiac. The tiger head is drawn in an abstract form, inspired by a samurai helmet from the Warring States period in Japan. Sharp straight lines shape the bottle body and express a firm and unyielding character. The bottle is made of glass, which adds gloss and texture to the surface and sets the product apart from ceramic bottles. A bright color and a clear layout of information help buyers recognize the product from a distance.
Strong Tiger Chinese Baijiu Packaging by TIGER PAN was selected as a grand illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award. Strong Tiger Chinese Baijiu Packaging earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2022. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
