Yanzhiwu Spring Festival Gift

Yanzhiwu Spring Festival Gift is a food packaging design created for the Chinese Spring Festival. The box is finished in Chinese red to highlight the festive character of the holiday. The package opens like a pair of double doors, expressing the idea of home and welcome. Traditional Chinese elements such as window panes, lanterns and firecrackers are applied to the surfaces. Through the window panes, scenes of reunion and celebration are shown. The design is intended as a gift box for sharing greetings between friends and family.

Yanzhiwu Spring Festival Gift Food Packaging by Mars Team has been identified as an exceptional example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yanzhiwu Spring Festival Gift Food Packaging was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates excellent design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
