La pause parisienne
La Pause Parisienne is a visual identity created for a floating event space in Paris. The letters of the name are formed as tree leaves, and a serif typography with curved leaf shapes gives an elegant and gentle character. The letter U reads as a pause symbol and as an empty space within the word, framed by a crown of leaves. Greenery and plant images surround the logo to strengthen the presence of nature. The identity matches the floral decoration of the renovated 460 square metre venue, which hosts meetings and events by day and by night.
La pause parisienne Visual Identity by Fanny De Bray was highlighted as an innovative example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. La pause parisienne Visual Identity won the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2021. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design award which rewards outstanding design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
