Rb5 Vinicola Visual Identity

Rb5 Vinicola

RB5 Vinicola is a visual identity and packaging program created for a winery in Sao Leopoldo, Brazil. The icon is a monogram that hides the letters R and B inside a serif number five. The negative space forms the silhouette of a wine opener. The name recalls the Bartolini family and the five brothers who founded the winery in 1853. The identity is applied to bottle packaging, wooden boxes, shopping bags, business cards, tags and uniforms. Embossing, gold foil, crepe paper, glass and cut wood were used. The aim was to join tradition with a modern and sober look.

Rb5 Vinicola Visual Identity by Victor Weiss has been highlighted as an innovative representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Rb5 Vinicola Visual Identity was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
